In 2006, Cleaning For a Reason was founded to provide support to breast cancer and cancer patients through free cleaning services. They were inspired to do this because they wanted the patients and families to have one less thing to worry about and find comfort in a clean, cozy home. Since then, Cleaning for a Reason and its partners have provided free home cleaning for more than 45,000 cancer patients and their families across all 50 U.S. states and Canada. Their website shares that these services are valued at more than $15.2 million.
Here at Sponge & Sparkle, we strive to give back and support our community, as well as cancer patients. Immediately, we knew we had to partner with Cleaning For a Reason to bring this great idea to Atlanta Georgia. Who We Are?
We Sponge & Sparkle, are Atlanta’s most experienced residential cleaning service. We have cleaned over 100,000 homes since 1981! The numbers speak for themselves.
Furthermore, we have a heart for service and gratitude. We are affiliated with the nonprofit “Cleaning for a Reason”, which, as aforementioned, offers free cleanings for people undergoing treatment for cancer. We also give part of our profits to local schools through “Donors Choose”, and regularly contribute to other environmental and social causes. We put our money where our mouth is!
Additionally, we cherish our clients and our employees alike! We know our clients deserve responsive, reliable, and attentive professional service on every level. We only use non-toxic cleaning compounds and essential oils that leave the air quality better than when we arrived. While we wanted to help raise awareness and promote this cause for the month of October, we support Cleaning for a Reason year around. We do this because cancer battles last much longer than just a month and we want to support them throughout the difficult process.
