Atlanta Fair - March 3rd through April 9th

The Atlanta Fair is one of the best spring festivals in Atlanta. For a full five weeks, it features thrilling rides, carnival food, and entertainment. Even if you don't want to hop on any rides or eat any carnival food, you can still have plenty of fun walking around the fair and taking in all the sights and sounds.

Atlanta St. Patrick's Day Parade - March 11

The Atlanta St. Patrick's Day Parade is one of the city's most beloved and longest-standing traditions. Every year, the streets are filled with revelers, floats, marching bands, and an abundance of green. Bring the family and enjoy a morning of fun activities, Irish dancers, bagpipers, and a variety of Celtic performances. Get there before 11 a.m. to find your spot along Peachtree Street in midtown!

Atlanta Science Festival & Exploration Expo - March 10th-25th

This two-week festival is dedicated to showcasing and promoting science and technology through engaging activities, events, and interactive demonstrations. From large-scale public programs to small, intimate gatherings, the festival has something for everyone.

Choose from over 100 interactive exhibits, lectures, hands-on activities, and entertainment held in Atlanta and surrounding areas. Browse the long list of scheduled events online to figure out which ones you'd like to attend most. Some require that you pre-register.

Tulip Festival - March 18th, 19th, 25th, 26th & April 1st, 2nd

The Tulip Festival at Yule Forest is the perfect springtime event because of its gorgeous backdrop of colorful tulips. This year, the festival will be taking place over three weekends to provide more opportunities for visitors to come and pick their tulip bouquets and take advantage of the spring photo ops.
In addition to the stunning fields of tulips, you'll also find food trucks, a petting zoo, an artisan market, a kids fun zone, live dinosaur shows by Prehistoric Nation and more.

Conyers Cherry Blossom Festival - March 25th & 26th

If you’re looking for a fun spring event in Atlanta that is sure to bring the whole family together, then this event is the one for you! Celebrate the season of renewal at the Conyers Cherry Blossom Festival. This event features hundreds of arts and crafts exhibitors, multiple food courts, Japanese cultural performances, storytelling, puppet shows, live music, and a children’s area with fun activities.

Go dressed in the cherry blossom-themed colors of pink and green and you could possibly win a prize! In previous years, event judges would search and reward festival-goers for the best-looking outfits, decorated strollers, or other creative accessories in cherry blossom colors.

Brookhaven Cherry Blossom Festival - March 25th & 26th

For a festival with more of a family-friendly concert experience, check out the Brookhaven Cherry Blossom Festival. Band of Horses performs Saturday, March 25th along with Don McLean, and Deep Blue Something. On Sunday, March 26th, Hanson takes the stage along with The Fray and Lissie.

Besides musical performances, this festival will also feature a classic car show, a kids zone, an art market, dog lure chasing, and food trucks. Held in Blackburn Park, event admission and concerts are free. Visit the Brookhaven, GA website for more information.
