What Are The Duties Of A Cleaning Technician?

Most cleaning companies offer a variety of services to their clients. This typically includes residential cleaning, commercial cleaning, deep cleaning, and move-in and move-out cleaning. There are many other additional services that some companies can offer, but these are offerings typically found at every maid service. 

At Sponge & Sparkle, we offer either a 'Basic' cleaning service or a 'Detail' cleaning on a weekly or biweekly schedule, as well as the move-in and move-out cleaning service. As a cleaning technician, you will be responsible for going on-site to the customer's home to clean their space.

This will likely include the following:

• Polishing furniture
• Dusting blinds, ceiling fans, picture frames, and decorative items
• Windexing glass surfaces, TV screens
• Vacuuming carpets, rugs, and hard surface floors
• Changing linens on the beds
• Collecting and emptying all trash and garbage
• Disinfecting & scrubbing down bathrooms; including sink, mirrors, toilets, shower, & tub
• Wipe down all kitchen appliance exteriors, countertops, and inside of the microwave
• Clean the sink & wipe down anything sitting out such as canisters or toasters
• Mop kitchen and bathroom floors
• Wipe down cabinets
• Clean cobwebs
